You were drunk and I was high.. I don't remember the reason to fight... I was wrong or you was right.. Things between us are changed a quite...   Mornings were shiny..Now clouds are down... We were acting like clowns... The moments we spent from dusk to dawn... Time has been passed and feelings are drown..   Every moment with you was a diamond piece... One more chance is all I need....   Together we make a unbeatable clan.. I miss those days of being insane... You make me laugh no one ever does... I hope you know.. You are my first crush..

  • Insufficient Love
    Manali Jobanputra | 25-Jan-2017
My Slumber has vanished, My mind is restless, Me he has Banished, But why?   I'm clueless. Memories keep flooding my mind, I relive each moment again, There are answers I can't find, why he caused me so much pain. I miss him, but in vain, My heart skips a beat, When I hear his name, I crave for a meet. The think of his touch, The feel of his lips, Gives me pleasure much, My inside skips. I crave for that feel, For him to be close, For our lips to seal, And curl my toes. I wish he knew, How i felt for him, But he has no clue, It's all so dim. Everything makes me nostalgic, He's everywhere I see, Losing him is tragic, Knowing it cannot be. I wish it could ensue, And together we'd be, My love would pursue, And he'd belong only to me. - Manali Jobanputra P.S : Shenaz on VK ! ( Reference 221 Days with a Twist )

  • Spirit
    TheLostBronteSister | 22-Jan-2017
I see yonder ye swaying bold, A blinding magnificent sight of gold, Specs of red with raging spirit, Awaiting the unyielding wrath of cold.   As each one flutters to the ground, You grieve the loss without a sound. The spirit you once hath, now stripped bare, As the silver gloom descends around.   With burdened boughs and a glistening crown, Don’t let the dark times bring you down. In the hope that all will be green again, Battle on with a determined frown.   As the seasons turn and the clouds part The rays bring life to the weathered heart As blossoms spread their fragrances new The mirth follows where the bees dart   They who live life with high and low Through deep despair with a joyous glow A life well lived at the end of the road On cloud nine and six feet below   - Neha Kamat

  • The VKian in me !
    Manali Jobanputra | 17-Jan-2017
He’s always in my heart, He’s  always  on my mind, Every woman’s Dream Man, Sexy,  Handsome and Kind.  What once I never watched, He made me love the game, It’s cricket of course, Where he has all the fame.  The blue jersey with eighteen, The charming bearded smile, Yes it’s my Virat Kohli, King of charm and style.  With the swing of his bat, Comes the adrenaline rush, When he scores a century, Comes the loud cheer gush.  When I see him onscreen, My heart skips a beat, My cheeks go sanguine, I wish, him I could meet.  A Rendezvous is what I yearn, A simple tryst with my superstar, And until that day comes, I’ll gaze from afar.  I hope he reads this someday, Perceives the love and admiration, Knows me,  his die hard fan – Manali, And my excessive adoration.  – VKian Manali Jobanputra

"I don't believe in love"Said she with a smile. Her calming Aura,And astonishing poise.Preffered silence,But.... No powerOver those expressive eyes. Unsaid, untold,Uncountable stories. She Buried so deep,Like they neverFormed a part of her life.Yet, They awakened fears Everytime Love made it's way In her life. She walked alone.Never made place forAnyone in her life.Voices of the past,Still haunted hernight after night.Maybe she wasNever loved as a child.Echoes of violence,Surrounded her thoughtsEven when she made others smile.

She tells me what is absent in me rather than what is present She tells me my weaknesses so that next time when I face an obstacle I overcome it with my full strength She tells me to be all carefree, crazy as I am and finds no reason to change me. She tells me to dream to believe to achieve .She tells me to smile when I am sad because she knows even a fake smile can light up a soul for a while. She tells me to laugh louder at silly ,stupid things because a day without a laughter is a day wasted .She tells me its ok if I have Noone to ask for a rose when you can build your own garden. She tells me to have gratitude towards life. She tells me to blush, wink and give that shy smile when I miss my college crush .She tells me when I look sexy in my red lipstick and white shirt. She tells that I should first fall in love with myself before I could give my heart to somebody else .She's neither a friend nor a sister of mine. She's ME. she's my inner self. She's deep down inside m

Double faced...Those innocent looking facesHide d pain for agesThose dark kohl eyesWhich seems so niceCould kill you in one stareSo don't you dare to glare Those rosy red lipsWhich pretend to fake smileHas something to tell you in a whileAbout a cruel joke of god n lord Those beautiful flowing hairHas something to shareBeneath them is a river flowing wd painBut after this pain there's a chance of happiness again     Those  delicate but sharp ears can listen you for yearsBut all the time lie is the only thing that they hearSo be sure this time its the truth they do not fear

  • Now it's time to name our child.
    Ankita Kulkarni | 16-Jan-2017
Now it's time to name our child. Siddharth,Rahul or Rohan. I was named Ankita, an "anguthachaap". My bother Aniket, one withought a house. Or parents were mocked. We were laughed at, for having such inauspicious names. So now it's time to name our child. How do u decide? What to pick withought it being misinterpreted? A God's name. A philosophical meaning. Something from the Vedas? And now it's time  to name our child. A name we can proudly say. Withought mockery, withought contempt. With our heads held high.

You came and  left, Many times. And came again, But I refused. To look at you, That beauty, that charm. I never realised. Until I stood in the same place as you. Until our stories resonated at the same frequency. Until I saw, my reflection in you, And found me in you. Then took solace in looking at you. All those hardships became easier, Owing to the presence of you. You were my strength, my faith. And taught me that transitions are beautiful. One day all the dead falls apart, And new life comes true. I believe this to happen, The day you bloom, I will bloom with you. Dear Autumn, I am so in love with you!

Better be prepared for what you are going to face, Because the world you are going to enter creates a judgement on every step; Because the world you are going to enter frets even on the name you get, They'll pull you down and down and further But remember this always That here I am as your fallback, That you don't need to care about what they say; Just make them fret more and make your way.

  • What's in a name?
    Ankeetaa | 15-Jan-2017
"What's in a name?" rechoed the mother, "identity" replied the father, "Don't we give our child the identity", asserted the father, "Or do we let her create it on her own," smiled the mother. The mothers are always right, thought the 3 day old daughter.   Ankeetaa

I look for you near shores and seas, In every scene that you cherish, In the moonlit night and sandy breeze! Didn’t find you but you can’t perish!   This lonely wicket noon shall overcome, The silent talks heard before, You may be deceased to a handful or some But into your cup yet tea I pour.   Your limericks I hear every dusk, It steals me away from turmoil. Your voice so clear and so brusque, I listen as I toil.   The dawn in front complaints your absence, Wishes to kiss you a farewell, But I, still can feel your presence, In my cottage yet you dwell.   The autumns ask for your destination, Your hands it wishes to hold. They say you skipped to a heavenly nation, “You are mistaken”, I told.   Your footprints have still paved way, For my ajar entrance door. “it’s a pitiful illusion”, they say! And exclaim as they mourn.   Their sobs so cold chills my spine, But you come and hold my hand. Your fingers, into

  • My One in a Minion !
    Manali Jobanputra | 14-Jan-2017
My one in a Minion, My fluffy teddy bear, You’re my little bob, filled with love and care. In the pitch of the black, You never let me turn, On the hardest track, You held me firm. The long crazy night-outs, The terrace every morning, The all day eat-outs, the out-of-note singing. All memories so close to my heart, Just like you, never apart, You’re an important part of me, Without you I can never be. This little stack of words, Cant describe your worth, B’cz you’re an angel, who always keeps me in mirth. So this is my special way, to poetically say, that ” I complete you, and you complete me .”   -Manali Jobanputra
