We were not much But our mouths They were everything. Our hearts would never Beat together But our lips synced Lie the moon and waves It was not much Teeth, tongue and hollow caves. And your taste, It would take my words hostage. Your bleeding lips, Blowing smoke, Would dip into comatose. Your teeth with icy tips, Dug into my soft skin Involuntary sounds You made me speak gibberish. There was not much, Parched lips, Curse words Some loved, some hurt. It all made sense In our mouths It didn't feel like much It felt like everything.
